McCain in Jersey City Tomorrow
By Eric Sedler | May 8, 2008
A little bit of a change of plans for the John McCain campaign tomorrow.
Due to a 100% chance of heavy rain forecast for tomorrow, the Sandy Hook event has been cancelled.
Instead, Senator McCain will be at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City.
The event begins with a press conference at 11:00 a.m., followed by a tour of an exhibit with former Governor Tom Kean, Sr.
Today’s fundraiser was a major success: There was a large turnout and Senator McCain was on his game in his speech.
Outside of hitting his usual talking points, Senator McCain said he was committed to campaigning hard and WINNING New Jersey.
I am fully confident that Senator McCain is exactly the kind of presidential candidate that will appeal to the independents and Reagan Democrats in New Jersey and will be a great boost at the top of the ticket for Republicans across the state.
