Murray Sabrin will support the Republican nominee

    By George Ajjan | February 20, 2008

**Full Disclosure - George Ajjan Works For Murray Sabrin in an official capacity**

With regard to presumptive Republican Presidential nominee John McCain, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Murray Sabrin, New Jersey’s foremost advocate of limited government and individual freedom, today issued the following statement:

“As a proud conservative Republican who has donated to, campaigned for, and supported such solid conservatives like Scott Garrett, Steve Lonegan, Jay Webber and Bret Schundler, I will support the Republican Presidential nominee if it is John McCain.

The real question Republicans should be asking is why does Anne Estabrook donate to Senator Bob Menendez and act like Senator Rob Torricelli, support Governor Jon Corzine and act like Governor Jim McGreevey, donate to Senator John Kerry and act like Senator Frank Lautenberg?  Republican Primary voters should not be fooled by this Democratic wolf in Republican sheep’s clothing and they will not allow her to buy the Primary.”

so I guess he does stray from Congressman Ron Paul who told reporters he will not back Sen. John McCain as his party’s nominee unless the Arizona senator “has a lot of change of heart.”

I’m glad that was cleared up. Thanks, George.

As far as Ron Paul goes, I think the party really needs to get behind his primary opponent, Chris Peden in Texas’s 14th Congressional District and pump money into his campaign to do away with Paul once and for all.

Vote for McCain if you must, but BACK the Constitution and apply pressure at all levels of Government.

As far as Ron Paul goes, He should keep running for president and turn the heat up on the FAKE republicans. Even if Paul loses his Congressional seat, It doesn’t matter. We are going to overtake the Party and RESTORE the REPUBLIC.

WE are not going away. This is not about Paul. This is bigger than You and I.

      2nd try at a post….

Vote for McCain if you must, but Stand behind the Constitution. We are not going away. No one is above the constitution and will have to deal with the large group of Civil Activist spawned by Paul.

Does it even slightly bother anyone on this blog that McCain knows absolutely nothing about economics, will obviously continue our drive toward bankruptcy, and actually called on the Fed to be __more__ inflationary — in other words, to solve the problems of inflation with more inflation? Why doesn’t that bother anyone here?

As for the neocon hack Chris Peden (who is utterly typical of the low-IQ version of the Republican Party we’ve been saddled with for so many years, and which would not have been recognized by actual conservatives like Russell Kirk), why not at least look at this?

Ron Paul is a fool and eliminating him from Congress would be a blessing. Who is this Chris Peden? I’d very much like to see a real Republican in that seat instead of a 19th Century dinosaur.

Every time I hear about Ron Paul’s foreign policy ideals I think to myself “isolationism.” If people like Ron Paul end up in the Presidency, then we’d have to surrender the Earth to China. No thanks. With Murray Sabrin in the Senate, we’d have yet another voice calling for America to retreat from the world. I’m not interested in retreat.

Libertarians have great ideas about domestic politics and limiting government in peoples’ lives but when it comes to national security they are all dinosaurs.

If you or anyone else reading this considers voting for Murray Sabrin then you are voting for America’s descent into a second world power.

      * correction, i meant “second-RATE world power”

Ironmike, I’m not sure I see how Ron Paul is an isolationist. Isolationism involves a policy of protectionism that Ron Paul is vehemently against. Non-interventionism is a different beast.

Now, I understand that you might not be a non-interventionist yourself, but replacing Ron Paul with a liberal neocon in the House is hardly an improvement for America. So what if there is one voice voting against expensive foreign wars? Would you rid yourself of that voice at the expense of the only voice calling for less spending, lower taxes, and less regulation?

The fact of the matter, Ironmike, is that flushing a trillion dollars into a military occupation of a Middle Eastern country, and over-extending our forces to do so has already turned us into a second-rate world power. If North Korea became a serious threat tomorrow, we would be helpless to get troops over there to defend us, because we have so many men tied up in the middle east.

We already won the war in Iraq. This is just needless nation-building, a policy that the Republican Party used to be against.

By pulling our troops out of Iraq, we can bring them, and that trillion dollars back home, where it can go toward building up our economy again.

To be a world power, you have to be powerful. The US Dollar is weak. Our national defense is weak (our Army is strong, but they’re too busy defending Iraq right now). Our economy is weak…

What we really need is 100 more years of this, like John McCain promised. 100 more years of sending bucketloads of money to be buried somewhere in the desert.

“If you or anyone else reading this considers voting for Murray Sabrin then you are voting for America’s descent into a second-rate world power.”

I hate to break it you, but our current policies are ALREADY helping us descend to a second-rate world power. There’s is more to being a world power than military prowess. Have you noticed what’s been happening to the value of the Dollar? We’re back on the path to stagflation, and neither party wants to acknowledge it, much less deal with it.

Also, do not assume that those of us supporting Dr. Paul and Murray Sabrin do not support the war in Iraq. I support the war and I support aggressive measures in the War on Terror. However, I also understand that we have to have our economic house in order if we are to continue the fight. That’s the reason I also support Paul and Sabrin.
